One of our more popular herbs, McCormick Thyme Leaves bring mellow herb flavor and sweet aroma to meat, fish and more. Excellent for everyday cooking, it elevates beef stew, chicken pot pie, casseroles, roasted potatoes or vegetables and meatless dishes with a warm and inviting taste. We carefully harvest and dry our thyme leaves so that they retain their rich color, piney aroma and subtle minty flavor. The robust leaves can withstand long cooking times in dishes like stews, gumbos and tomato sauces or high heat cooking for roasted or grilled meats. Thyme blends well with other herbs and spices, making it often-used around the world in seasoning blends including French Herbes de Provence, Caribbean jerk spice and Middle Eastern za’atar.
