Store Information & Safety Measures
Facial Coverings Now Required In-Store
As an employer, grocery provider and community partner, we have a responsibility to help keep our associates, customers and communities safe. According to the CDC, wearing a facial covering, combined with social distancing and frequent hand washing, has been scientifically proven to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Starting July 22, we will require all customers in all locations to wear a mask when shopping in our stores, joining our associates who continue to wear masks. Customer Capacity Limits
Beginning April 7, The Kroger Co. will begin to limit the number of customers to 50% capacity to allow for proper physical distancing in every store. Read the full press release here and read related FAQs here.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
All stores are following enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols that includes cleaning commonly used areas and wiping down equipment and high-touch surfaces.
We’re installing protective barriers at check lanes and Pharmacy counters (as well as The Little Clinic and Starbucks) to protect both customers and associates.
As part of our efforts to keep you safe and to encourage social distancing, you may notice signage or floor markers at some locations that encourage proper physical distance between yourself and other shoppers.
Exclusive Shopping Hours for Higher-Risk Customers
Please save the earliest shopping times, usually 6-8am, for senior shoppers and higher-risk customers, as described by the CDC. Check your store for more details.
Due to increased demand, you may experience longer wait times, limited inventory, limited pickup time slots or delayed deliveries. Our associates are working around the clock to make it easier for you to get what you need. In the meantime, we invite you to try our FREE pickup service at a store near you.
SNAP EBT Payment Option for Pickup
As part of our fresh for everyone commitment, we are now accepting SNAP EBT payments for pickup at all pickup locations.
